Refund/Cancellation Policy
We strive to provide our customers with high-quality products and a seamless shopping experience. While we aim to ensure that every item meets your expectations, here’s our policy for returns, refunds, and cancellations:
General Policy
• We accept returns only for damaged or defective products.
• If the product is damaged, we will provide a full replacement. Unfortunately, we are unable to process returns or refunds for reasons other than damage or defects at this time.
• To be eligible for a return, the product must be in its original packaging with the receipt or proof of purchase.
Conditions for Return or Exchange
• Since every product undergoes a thorough quality check before dispatch, returns or exchanges are only applicable in the following cases:
• Damaged product
• Wrong product received
• Incorrect size (different from the size ordered)
• Important: Complaints must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. A 360° unboxing video is required as evidence. This video must be:
• Clear and uninterrupted from the beginning, showing the parcel’s address and the issue in good lighting.
• Minor issues like loose threads or slight color variations due to photographic effects are not considered defects.
Replacement Details
• Free replacements are provided within 7 days if the product is defective, damaged, or different from what was ordered.
• Return shipping must be arranged by the customer, as we currently do not have a return pickup facility.
How to Initiate a Return

• Please note that items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Damages and Issues
• We kindly request you to inspect your order upon delivery. If there are any issues such as defects, damage, or incorrect items, contact us immediately so we can resolve the matter promptly.
Refunds/Cancellations
• Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days and credited to your original payment method. Please note that banks or card issuers may take additional time to reflect the refund.
For Sarees
Returns & Exchanges
We aim to deliver the best sarees, reducing the need for returns or exchanges.
Returns Are Applicable Only for Defects
If there is a defect, our team will perform a quality check. If confirmed, we will issue a refund for the product and shipping charges.
Non-Defects Include:
• Small knots or bumps in threads from the weaving process
• Uneven threads along borders
• Slubs (bundled residual threads)
• Minor gaps in motifs
• Dye bleeding in powerloom sarees
• Loose threads in Bandhani sarees
• Slight color variations due to device screens
Defects Include:
• Tears in the saree
• Incorrect length (different from what was stated)
• Missing blouse piece (if included in the description)
Return Process for Sarees
• Notify us at support@divanie.in within 3 days of receiving the product.
• Once confirmed, ship the item back to us within 7 days. For international shipments, return shipping and customs duties will be borne by the customer.
